Who We Are

King of Kings

The Fisherman Brotherhood has only one true Leader who guides our walk: Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, whom we joyfully acknowledge as our Executive Director. It is our humble confession that He alone is the true Head, Founder, and Sustainer of every good work we undertake. We are simply fishermen, as the Lord called us in Mark 1:17 — men who once toiled all night casting empty nets and caught nothing, until the risen Lord stood on the shore and called to us (John 21:1–14). He is the One who fills our nets, who breathes life into our calling, and who continues to direct every step we take.

The Fisherman Team

Anchored in the eternal truth of Scripture and the power of the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit we are a brotherhood of Christian men united by the Great Commission (Mathew 28:19), compelled by Mark 1:17 – Fishers of Men. Reaching out in love to the lost, hurting and misguided. Through genuine fellowship, discipleship, servitude, and study of Scripture, we strive to build trust, foster spiritual maturity, and strengthen one another to live boldly for Christ in all areas of life.

Servant Team

We, the Servant Board of The Fisherman, exist for one simple purpose: to serve. Our mission as individual servant board members—and even more so as a collective team—is to pray without ceasing, to support wholeheartedly, and to provide humble guidance and direction to the Fisherman Team. We do not lead from above; we kneel below. We are not here to direct from a place of authority, but to listen, intercede, and offer whatever wisdom or encouragement the Lord may entrust to us for His work. Like servants waiting at the Master’s table, we consider it our highest privilege to wash feet, carry burdens, and point every decision, every prayer, and every step back to Jesus Christ—the true Executive Director and Head of this ministry. Without Him we are nothing; with Him we lack nothing. We serve because He first served us.

John 21: 1-7

John 21: 1-7 – 1 After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

4 Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” They answered him, “No.” 6 He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. 7 That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!”

2 Timothy 2:24-26

24 And the Lord’s servant[a] must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

1 Peter 5:8

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to deceive and devour. Be careful, It truly is a battle for man’s soul.

Mark 1:17

“Come follow me,” Jesus told them,“ and I will make you fishers of men.”

Jesus offers a captivating call, inviting them to “follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” He suggests their current activities are good, but there is a higher calling that can lead to true greatness. Jesus encourages them to impact lives, promising that if they bring Him the catch, they will witness transformed lives.

Proverbs 10:9

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.
