Why We Call Our Monday Night Meetings “The Net”
Just as Jesus stood on the shore and called His disciples to cast their nets into the deep—resulting in a miraculous catch so abundant the nets nearly broke—we gather on Monday nights under the same name and purpose.
“The Net” is a reminder that we are not merely meeting together; we are actively fishing for souls. Through prayer, fellowship, teaching, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we cast the net of the Gospel into our community, our families, and our own hearts. Jesus still calls people into the Net today—drawing the lost, the weary, and the seeking into the safety of His kingdom, just like He filled those fishing nets on the Sea of Galilee.
So every Monday, we come expecting a catch. The Net is out, and the Master Fisherman is at work.

“Come follow me,” Jesus told them,“ and I will make you fishers of men.”
Jesus offers a captivating call, inviting them to “follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” He suggests their current activities are good, but there is a higher calling that can lead to true greatness. Jesus encourages them to impact lives, promising that if they bring Him the catch, they will witness transformed lives.
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.
