We are a group of Christian men who have “locked shields” in a common cause of intentionally moving into a change of life season. We call this life change “success to significance” which is often referred to as Halftime. This transformation is not at all dependent upon income and net worth. We trade that which we can’t acquire enough of (significance) for that of which we already have plenty of (success).

When a group of Christian men (Mark1:17-Halftimers) locks shields in a common cause it becomes a powerful force for spiritual renewal and transformation. Not only do we strengthen each other’s faith, but we also influence the broader church and community, guiding other men back into a vibrant, purposeful relationship with Christ.

The M117 team’s first “significance” joint venture is The Lodge.  The Lodge offers a 21st century Ministry to Men experience capable of reaching the churched, unchurched and de-churched men – particularly young men – with the transforming understanding of masculinity based on the person of Jesus and the teaching of the Bible.

Our M117 team projects seek to strengthen marriages, families, friendships, workplaces and community by helping men understand and live into the timeless and life-giving manhood of Jesus.

We are dedicated to the local church, which we believe is the vehicle God has ordained to transform the world. Our mission is to serve the local church, and we are committed to helping win men back to it.

All of us will face a final exam when we arrive at Heaven’s Gate. As we visualize it, we believe there will be two questions (1) What did you do about Jesus (2) What did you do with what I gave you to work with. 2 Timothy 2:24-26

24 And the Lord’s servant[a] must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

Mark 1:17

“Come follow me,” Jesus told them,“ and I will make you fishers of men.”

Jesus offers a captivating call, inviting them to “follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” He suggests their current activities are good, but there is a higher calling that can lead to true greatness. Jesus encourages them to impact lives, promising that if they bring Him the catch, they will witness transformed lives.

Proverbs 10:9

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.
